MEET DR. LAURA TASHJIAN
Founder + CEO
Dr. Laura Tashjian, PT, DPT, CSCS, is an experienced functional movement specialist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Dr. Tashjian earned a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, Exercise Science from The University of Rhode Island and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University.
Dr. Tashjian is a former competitive ice dancer, two-time USFS and CAN Figure Skating Gold Medalist, International Figure Skating Coach & Choreographer (World Bronze Medalists, two-time National and International Champions), and works with High Performance figure skating athletes.
Dr. Tashjian continues to skate and coach/choreograph all disciplines of figure skating as well as coaching hockey power skating. She has a passion for helping all people/athletes stay healthy by preventing injuries, maximizing longevity, and optimizing performance - both on and off the ice.
She also enjoys snowboarding and playing horse polo. Dr. Tashjian loves to be active, learn new sports/activities, spend time outdoors, and spend time with family/friends including her dog, Kai Kai.

WHAT TO EXPECT
MOOVment Assessment and Re-Assessments:
This is a visual head-to-toe assessment to evaluate your body’s general movement patterns, sport-specific movement patterns, strength impairments, as well as evaluating your walking/running gait
Re-Assessments are recommended at least every quarter/season to ensure proper strength and conditioning progressions
Customized Corrective Programs:
After visually assessing your movement patterns, you will receive customized training programs tailored to your individual needs, to improve your limitations and achieve your goals
